Informances
In addition to Alan Gampel's formal performances he enjoys giving lecture recitals and likes to call them "informances". He has been invited to give these "informances" in various settings which include: embassies, libraries, and universities... At these lecture recitals, Alan discusses historical and cultural issues in order to enrich the audience's experience and understanding of the music.
